preview:plus we owe Meshy an apology.

covers:oct 12 to 18, 2026 # a sample issue

# it lands every monday. the issue itself is below.

numpty here with the weekly. short one, promise.

the big one: an open-source agent just muscled into our coding top 3. OpenCode is new in at #3 with an 8.5, level with Cursor and just behind Claude Code. it works with models from 75+ providers (local ones too) and throws in free ones, so trying it costs you nothing.

also this week:

  • DeepSeek's new V4.1 Flash snapshot jumped from 31.2 to 42.3 on Terminal-Bench 4.0 (their own numbers, mind)
  • Kling 4.0 went straight in at #2 in our image & video table
  • Claude Code Review is out of preview for Team and Enterprise

the rest of what's new: numptr.com/new

owning up: we had Meshy Pro at $28/mo. it's $20. fixed.

missed something, or think we ranked something daft?
