Replit pricing explained: plans, agent credits and the small print

updated · prices checked on vendor pages

quick answer: Replit has a free Starter plan with daily agent credits and one published app. Core is $20/mo ($18/mo billed annually), with $20 towards the more powerful models. Pro is $100/mo ($90/mo annually), with $100 towards the most powerful models and room for 15 builders. beyond Free Mode, agent work is billed by effort.

we rank Replit #2 in app builders (8.0/10). code, agent, hosting and database all in one tab. here's what it costs.

the plans

plan price what you get
Starter $0 daily agent credits up to a monthly cap, Lite build, monthly cloud credits, 1 published app (down after 30 days)
Core $20/mo, or $18/mo billed annually up to 30 hours of chat and 60 projects on Free Mode, $20 towards more powerful models, full build, up to 5 builders
Pro $100/mo, or $90/mo billed annually more Free Mode usage, $100 towards the most powerful models, up to 15 builders, credits roll over for two months
Enterprise custom SSO/SAML, custom seat limits, single-tenant environments

prices are subject to tax depending on where you are.

how agent billing works

Free Mode costs nothing within your allowance. Replit picks the model for you.

Power Mode and Max Mode use your monthly credits. Replit tells you before a request moves from Free Mode into a paid mode.

paid work is effort-based. each request ends in one checkpoint, and a small bug fix usually costs less than a whole new feature. some agent features call third-party models such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, billed at the provider's public API rate from your Replit credits.

your credits cover more than agent. publishing, databases, storage and data transfer come out of the same monthly credits.

the catches (read these)

1. Starter's app goes down after 30 days. you get one published app and it carries a "made with Replit" badge. Core removes both limits.

2. starter can't do full builds. it's Lite build only. no Plan Mode, no connectors (Google, Stripe and the like) and no Replit AI integrations.

3. hosting eats the same credits. a busy published app and a busy agent share one pot. keep an eye on the usage dashboard.

4. set a budget. Replit has usage alerts and budgets under billing in settings. use them before you start a big build.

5. Pro is for teams. 15 builders with pooled credits, no per-user fees, and 28 days of database recovery instead of 7.
